What do you think of when you read or hear about the star in the Christmas story? For some, they think merely of a decorative embellishment to put atop a Christmas tree. For others, they see it as a miraculous sign, a navigational tool, or simply as the star that shone brightly over a field near the city of Bethlehem at the birth of a great religious leader.

While this shining star represents each of those things, it also represents more than just those things. THIS star heralded the arrival of God into our world – wrapped in human flesh, born of a young Jewish girl, laid in a simple feeding trough, the Savior who would someday free the human race from sin, evil, and death forever.

Join us this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, marked by the star, the Savior of the World!
